Looking Ahead: 30 Years of Great Bay Tai Chi

July 24 & 25 Celebration

2026 marks the 30th Anniversary of the founding of Great Bay Tai Chi by Paul Mahoney! To celebrate we will be hosting multiple events on July 24 and 25.

Friday July 24 – Paul will be on hand to lead our 9:00am Short Form class at The Customs House Museum in Newburyport. Afterward, we will have public demonstrations with Paul as the Guest of Honor. We will be looking for students to demonstrate our various forms to recognize Paul’s teachings and share our practice with the public.

Saturday July 25 – Paul will be at Internal Arts New England for a seminar on Tai Chi Ball. The practice of Tai Chi Ball is one of Paul’s specialties and has greatly influenced the Great Bay Tai Chi curriculum. Registration information coming soon!

Later that evening we will host a reception for the community and express our gratitude to Paul for all he has done and his teachings.

We hope you will be able to join us to celebrate 30 years of Tai Chi, Qigong, Community, Friendship, and Learning.

Please email Chris@greatbaytaichima.com with any questions.

Happy Practicing!
