April 5: Pop-up with Pam

On Easter Sunday, April 5, Pam will offer a Holiday Pop-Up 9:00-10:00am. These Pop-Up classes are free to current members and integrate Qigong and Tai Chi Form practice. These are a great, relaxing way to start your holiday.

April 11 - 26: Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming Visits Massachusetts

Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming is visiting Massachusetts this month, and there are several opportunities to work with him. He will be in Boston on April 11 and 12, Watertown on April 18 and 19, and Andover on April 25 and 26. You can learn more about his offerings and find the registration information below. 

April 11: Relax, Grateful, Aware with Effie Stavrulaki

On Saturday, April 11, Effie Stavrulaki of North Shore Insight Meditation Community will offer a workshop titled “Relax, Grateful, Aware.”

April 11: Short Form Refinements with Chris

Also on April 11, Chris will be offering a Short Form Refinements seminar 2:00-4:00pm. This seminar is for students who have a good understanding of the Yang Style 24 Movement Short Form sequence and are ready for deeper level refinements. We will work on flow, connecting to the breath, and maintaining structure. This is a great opportunity to deepen and refine your Tai Chi practice.

April 12: Sunday Morning Qigong is 4 Seasons Qigong - Spring Set

On Sunday, April 12, our 9:00am Qigong class will begin practicing 4 Seasons Qigong with a look at the Spring Qigong set.

Usui Reiki Level 2 with Stacie

Usui Reiki Level 2 with Stacie Bowman begins on Sunday, April 12. This series is open to anyone with Reiki Level 1 certification. 

April 25: Choose Mindfulness with Matthew Daniell

On Saturday, April 25, Matthew Daniell of North Shore Insight Meditation Community will offer a workshop titled “Choose Mindfulness.”

April 25: World Tai Chi and Qigong Day Update

Saturday April 25 is also World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. In the past, we have held a big public event. Last year was sadly rained out, and this year, most of the instructor team have other commitments. Therefore, we will not be holding a big event this year for World Tai Chi and Qigong Day. We have another exciting event in the works for the summer. Details are still being hashed out, but we plan to have an announcement ready for you soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for details, and yes, this upcoming event will include T-shirt orders(!), but if you can’t wait and want to order something now, you can always look at our new store! 

April 25 & 26: No Open Practice or Sunday Morning Qigong

There will be no Open Practice session on April 25 and no Qigong class on April 26. We apologize for any inconvenience.

May 9: Working with Resentment and Anger with Max Johnson

On Saturday, May 9, Max Johnson of North Shore Insight Meditation Community will offer a workshop titled “Working with Resentment and Anger.”

May 9: Combat for the Stage and Screen with Bobby Garcia

Also on Saturday, May 9, Bobby Garcia will return to Internal Arts New England for a workshop on Combat for the Stage and Screen. This exciting seminar is for martial artists and actors interested in learning more about building fight scenes and making them entertaining and believable.
